Day?

Day 5 I had to make sure, everything is still going amazing, we had an easy day yesterday and mostly did slab climbing at Muir valley, which is still really fun didn’t get any pictures the routes weren’t very pretty, but we still had some fun. Today was some harder climbing so we went to Solarium at Muir valley and warmed up on a beautiful 5.11C called Banshee, it’s an awesome route almost 100 feet tall with two awesome no hands rests in a couple hueco’s, after that we moved too a 5.12A Magnum opus, ninety feet of overhung pockets with a pretty sweet hueco towards the top, i didn’t like it too much but Molly was psyched on it so we put a few go’s on it, no sends but good progress. After that we headed back to camp put our little tent inside the big one to prepare for the coming rain, i think we could go through a hurricane and be just swell.

It’s official

The title says it all, we quit our jobs and moved to Red River Gorge in Kentucky which if you didn’t know was the plan all along, we’ve been here of two days its pretty much amazing, the climbing is more fun then you could imagine (unless you’ve been here before,) and the people are just as fun you never know who you’ll run into we’ve already seen some old friends and made some new ones, we’ve also done some old climbs and some new ones, got on some old projects like Crack the whip 5.11d at the playground in PMRP, and might have found some new ones, there is so much here i feel like no matter how long we live here we’ll never see it all.
